I've wanted to do a giveaway for some time now, but with just 12 followers it seems a bit silly. Then I was thinking back about my first year of blogging and how it feels when someone new starts following or when someone leaves a comment. I really appreciate everyone's comments! However, there has been one faithful follower who consistently leaves me such encouraging comments. So, I decided I would make something special for that follower in special thanks for all the devoted comments.

It's a year today since I officially started blogging! I hope you have enjoyed your visits with me. Please enjoy a pictorial look back at my year.

I didn't necessarily reach all my original goals for this blog in the first year, but I still had a lot of fun and learned a little bit along the way. Blogging has enhanced the way I look at everyday life. It has help me to take better notice of the small things that make me smile and I've enjoyed sharing them with you.
